West London,  Where to Stay

Where to Stay in Belgravia: 9 Beautiful Hotels to Book

While you might not know it if you’ve never visited before, the different areas of London – Central, North, East, West, and South – all have very different atmospheres. From the architecture to the attractions, the restaurants to the residents, every London visitor ends up feeling like one part of the city is a bit more like “home” than others. This is especially true once you’ve stayed in London; the area you choose to stay in has a huge impact on your experience!

West London is known as the posh, upper-crust, nicer side of town (especially when compared with the converse in the edgy East); as such, the neighborhoods and hotels are nicer… but will also cost more accordingly, on average. Belgravia is one of those West London neighborhoods where you can find some of the city’s best hotels, and those at the biggest price points.

Bonus: Vacation Rentals through Plum Guide

If hotels aren’t quite your style, that’s okay – Belgravia is home to some lovely vacation rentals too, with extra amenities that can be really handy if you need them during your London trip. My preferred booking platform is called Plum Guide, and here are a few of their Belgravia options:

  • And Breathe is a beautiful, airy, bright flat that will have you dreaming of living there forever… or maybe that’s just me!
  • For a little more color and contrast, Gerald Lodge has extra design elements and a lovely small terrace that give the whole space a very homey feel.
  • Sloane Opulence is close to Sloane Square and has a bit more indulgent details; this is a particular style that might not appeal to every traveler – but is perfect if that’s the way you want to feel during your London trip.
  • Similarly, The Ivory Tower evokes the posh style that Belgravia is known for; it’s a good alternative to more expensive hotels with a similar style. This is also the largest unit on the list, and can fit up to 8 guests.
  • For one final option, Venner House is cozy and colorful without being ‘too much,’ exactly the balance that some families might be looking for in a place to stay.

Here’s the full list of Plum Guide properties in Belgravia and the surrounding area, if none of these fit your style, budget, or travel dates.
