Ready to sink your teeth into a sweet treat without any animal products? Here are enough options to fill all the breakfast slots on your entire London itinerary.
Borough 22

It was in 2011 when Ryan Panchoo’s wife and children began suffering from gluten and dairy intolerances. Baffled by the lack of multi-allergen-friendly bakeries, he decided to crack delicious recipes to satisfy his wife and children’s sweet cravings. And so Borough 22 was born.
Today, Borough 22 has won a place as one of the best vegan donuts in London. If I’m being honest, the title is totally deserved. Their donuts are just exquisite. Not only do they smell great, but their texture is soft, moist, and incredibly light. The bakery also offers an exciting selection of vegan donuts to choose from, so you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Borough 22 does not have a public storefront, but you can order online for overnight delivery anywhere in the UK.
Cookies and Scream

Cookies and Scream is one of the bakeries in London where vegans can feel “anxiety free”. Everything tastes absolutely fantastic, but, best of all, it’s all vegan. The cute bakery on Holloway Road crafts a stunning selection of donuts with a moist and soft texture.
One of their big differences is that the donuts are oven baked instead of fried. Moreover, Cookies and Scream sells homely cookies alongside amazing dessert confections, ice cream milkshakes, and incredible chocolate truffles and treats.
While being a vegan can be challenging at times, the hardest thing to find here is a decision on what to order. Because who doesn’t love a place where you can get a chocolate coffin filled with vegan cookie dough?
Crosstown Marylebone

Located just around the corner from Oxford Street, Crosstown’s Marylebone location offers vegan doughnuts that were awarded ‘Best Vegan Doughnuts’ by PETA in 2018 and ‘The Best Doughnuts’ by Vegans of London in 2019. They must be doing something right.
This vegan-only store is an absolute must in London for vegans with a sweet tooth. It may not have the widest spread of flavors, but it compensates it with how huge and tasty the donuts are. They also have excellent deals when you buy half a dozen or a dozen.
If you want to try their regular doughnuts and a larger selection, look at other Crosstown stores around the city, which also have vegan donuts.

Of course, they also serve delicious vegan donuts. If you happen to stop by, make sure to try their pastéis de nata (Portuguese custard tarts), too; these are some of the best this side of the Channel.
Galeta Bakery makes fantastic bespoke bakes for special events too. So if you have a birthday party or event, you know who’s got your back.
Happy Donuts

Happy Donuts makes what you would call the proper traditional homemade donuts. In a few words, they’re one of the best vegan donuts in London if you like light, fluffy donuts and not heavy cakey ones.
Their donuts are fresh, pillowy, sweet, and full of flavor. Speaking of flavors, they have great ones, like red velvet, Ferrero Rocher, Banoffee, and more. They also have other options if you’re visiting with a non-donut person (does that exist?!); scones and croissants are also among the delicious pastries they prepare.
Knead a Little Love

Tucked in the corner of Bethnal Green, Knead a Little Love is a quirky cafe run by sisters Becca and Jess. Rumor has it that they have the best vegan doughnuts in East London…
The truth is that their whole range of vegan products is fabulous. This lovely little cafe is always stocked with fresh sweet treats of all shapes and sizes. Their original, artisan doughnuts taste fresh and are generously packed with lots of filling. It’s not just sweet treats either. All-day brunches and bagels are a tasty example of how diverse their menu is.
