Like pretty much everything in life, not all hotels are for everyone. St Christopher’s Inn London Bridge is one of the best cheap hotels near London Bridge for travelers who want to socialize.
The hostel sits on top of a 16th-century English pub that plays music past midnight and is next to some of the liveliest bars in the area. Not everything is about partying, though! The hostel has comfortable shared rooms and capsules if you crave some privacy during your trip. Bathrooms are clean, towels are available for rent, and there’s a water dispenser.
You can’t beat the location either. The hostel is a 2-minute walk from two tube stations and a short distance from Tower Bridge, The Shard, and Borough Market.

And it’s easy to see why. Showers have hot water, beds are comfy and clean, the atmosphere is friendly, and the location is excellent, right near London Bridge and other main attractions. Like many of its counterparts, The Rose & Crown has a proper English pub downstairs where you can enjoy a great choice of ales and tasty burgers.
As a heads up, The Rose & Crown has a 24-hour open bar. Let’s add to that that it is one of the top cheap hotels near London Bridge and you can expect large crowds well into the night. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.
Dover Castle Hostel

Dover Castle Hostel has been a magnet for backpackers and students that come to London looking for a little bit of fun.
Like all the budget hotels near London Bridge mentioned in the list, Dover Castle Hostel has a great location close to popular tourist sites. It also has great transport connections, with access to the Underground just a few steps away.
As for the amenities, rooms are comfortable, although they can feel a bit cramped, and there’s one shower room per floor – you may need to adjust your shower schedule in order to avoid the busiest times. Breakfast is served in the bar downstairs. It is self-serve and consists of bread (toasters available) with butter and jam, cold cereal, fruit, juice, tea, and instant coffee.

Last but not least, we’ve got the Premier Inn London. Unlike the other budget hotels near London Bridge, the location is central, but you don’t have as easy access to the bus and Underground system. If you’re up for a bit of walking, you’ll be fine, though.
As for the amenities, the hotel has small rooms with comfortable beds (they have the most sumptuous mattress topper) and a nice bathroom. It offers a fantastic breakfast that’s worth every penny. You’ll wake up to a selection of cooked food from bacon to hash browns to beans and some other items. Along with this, there are lots of different cereals and drinks to choose from as well as toast and croissants. More than enough to fill you up for the rest of the day.
