8 Luxe Vacation Rentals & Airbnbs in London with a Pool

Most people associate London with grey, rainy weather, but you might be surprised: during the summer months, average high temperatures climb into the 70s Fahrenheit (mid-20s Celsius) – and there’s at least one heatwave every year where the city swelters in temps approaching 90°F (32°C). Wouldn’t it be nice to have a cool pool to slip into on those days?

Turns out, that wish can come true. Though you won’t find it as a standard amenity at hotels, vacation rentals, or Airbnbs in London, there are a few places to stay in London where you can enjoy a pool – usually a communal one, but a few with private pools too.

While I’ve been fortunate to never end up in London during a heatwave, I do love browsing Airbnb, VRBO, and the other vacation rental sites to see what cool places (literally!) that I could stay on my next trip. Based on one dreamy day of surfing the sites, I found these incredible Airbnbs in London with a pool – and other properties too. If you see a heatwave in the forecast for your London trip or just want to splurge on your next London stay, dive in (pun intended…) to this list and you’re sure to find at least one you love too.

1. Stylish Central London Flat with Pool & Terrace

Let’s kick off this list of London Airbnbs with a Pool with this fantastic studio. While it’s rather small, Kris’s studio has everything you need to have a pleasant stay in the cosmopolitan city. Located in Central London, the flat features one bedroom, one bath, and a bright and airy living area. The decoration is mostly modern yet it also has colorful notes that create a sense of warmth. 

The complex features a heated indoor swimming pool to do a few laps before you start the day. There’s also a sauna to relax after a long day. Moving on to the flat’s convenience, it sits in the heart of Central London, so you’ll be just a short walk from many of London’s landmarks. It also has plenty of restaurants and pubs along the way plus tube stations nearby.

2. Central Apartment with Spacious Terrace & Pool

Silvia’s apartment isn’t as glamorous as other AirBnbs on the list, but it has a cozy vibe that makes it a home away from home. Situated in the wonderful Farmington area, the apartment has a one-bedroom, one-bathroom; although there is a double bed and a single foldaway bed in the bedroom and a double sofa-bed in the living room, so it can sleep up to four guests.

The apartment also has a private terrace with a table and amazing views. There’s a swimming pool and sauna in the development and it’s open  24 hours! As for practicality, you can access all public transports by foot and attractions like St. Paul’s and Millennium Bridge are only a 20-minute walk away.

3. The Graffiti Artist (The Plum Guide)

London is a diverse city and so are the listings here. In the case of The Graffiti Artist, we’re talking about one of the hippest vacation rentals in London with a Pool. This Airbnb is an explosion of color and a mishmash of styles– its name is the Graffiti Artist after all. Graffiti chairs, electric blue sofas, grey sober bedding, minimalistic kitchen, funky rugs; all this in just 104 sq/m. 

Besides the kaleidoscopic design, the Airbnb features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a spacious living room that connects with the kitchen. The apartment has floor-to-ceiling windows in every room so you can always peek at London’s city landscape during your stay. As if the property wasn’t outstanding already, it also has a heated rooftop pool, granting even more gorgeous views of London.

4. Luxury Living in Battersea Power Station

This luxurious condo is by far one of the poshest Airbnbs in London with a Pool. The interior looks like it were taken from a page of Architectural Digest. Perched on the 6th floor, the duplex is within the iconic Battersea Power Station. The owners have just finished the apartment’s refurbishment, with luxurious decor and high-end technology. 

The apartment features a large lounge area, a modern fitted kitchen with integrated Miele appliances, and two large bedrooms, both with en-suites. The master bedroom includes a stunning copper roll-top bath, a separate dressing room, and floor-to-ceiling glass doors leading to a private balcony overlooking the communal gardens. Both bedrooms have views of the famous Battersea Power Station chimneys. Guests also have access to the building’s fully equipped gymnasium and pool.

5. Central Style (The Plum Guide)

Central Style is an excellent vacation rental in Fulham, where period properties and lovely eateries and pubs line the streets. The flat shows a lovely combination of rustic and modern design and is decorated with unique items that the owners have collected in their trips around the world. The kitchen is gorgeous and is equipped with everything you need to concoct a delicious dinner (plus the glass ceiling is just amazing.) 

The flat has a lovely garden, with a fuchsia velvet bench, a giant barbecue area, a fire pit, and a plunge pool. I think this Airbnb is perfect for travelers who want to discover a different side of London. You can visit the Brompton Cemetery, watch a football match at Stamford Bridge, or grab a bite at River Cafe.

6. Stunning Upscale High-Rise Apartment on the River

This stunning apartment caters to every single need. It has incredible style, state-of-the-art appliances,  enormous rooms, stunning views, and excellent transport links. The flat features three bedrooms and three bathrooms. You’ll find upper-scale technology incorporated in every corner of the house. Sitting on the 30th floor, the flat has mind-blowing views of London which you can constantly admire thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows. 

If that’s not enough, the flat has a private lounge sky garden. While most decor follows a minimalist approach, the contemporary artwork dotted around the property livens up the atmosphere. You can book the building’s pool, which also has stunning views over London’s skyline.

7. Blythe Road (onefinestay)

Blythe Road is the perfect flat for a big family– it can sleep up to nine guests! This architect-designed urban manor spreads over four floors, featuring an unusual (but perfect) distribution of spaces and an equally interesting style.  An enormous entrance is the first thing that meets the eye. As you walk, you find an open-plan living area, with a state-of-the-art kitchen at the left. Then is the sitting room, decorated with elegant seats and modern artwork plus a pool table. To the right are a cozy garden and blue-tiled swimming pool.

Four rooms and a bathroom are on the second floor, which connects to the kitchen through a fireman’s pole beside the staircase. The third-floor houses another three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a semi-circular playroom, and a lawned terrace. On the fourth floor are the master bedroom, another half-moon room with a smart ensuite, and a second terrace.

8. Stunning & Unique Five-bed Home with Indoor Pool

All of the Airbnbs and vacation rentals on the list are fantastic, but this gorgeous five-bedroom home is an ode to design and architecture. A 19th-century lodge dating back to 1865, the building underwent a four-year renovation from head to toe. The house’s style is a nod to Fulham Cemetery, boasting a stunning modern Neo-Gothic design.

The interior features a luxurious large open planned living and entertaining space on the ground floor, four main bedrooms, and five bathrooms, and three reception rooms. As if that wasn’t enough,  the house also has a wine cellar, a private garden, an indoor pool, and a sauna.
